Dr. JR Gonzalez graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas as well as Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. During his time in dental school, Dr. Gonzalez received the Esthetic Dentistry Award from the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Gonzalez completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas. It was during his time here that Dr. Gonzalez received more comprehensive training in the esthetic and restorative aspects of dentistry. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Gonzalez began treating patients in a private practice setting. He was asked to join the General Dentistry faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry where he continues today to teach part time as an Assistant Clinical Professor.
